** Peripheral Showcase **

My nephew ordered himself the new Orbital Pathfinder Founder Edition gaming mouse but randomly sent it right to me to check out which I thought was kinda cool. It's a modular mouse with loads of customisation options, but it comes t a hefty cost and I find my Feinmann F01 a nicer more comfortable mouse to game with. That and the F01 is Magnesium so has the nicer feel to it as well. Sensor performance between any gaming mouse these days is virtually the same so no need to write anything about performance.

Those along the top are side grips of various styles depending on grip style, the lower row are humps of different sizes to suit preference. You also get different size side buttons too.

All those side grip options but no option for buttons on the right side of the mouse instead of / as well as the left? I'm actually a little outraged

My own, I bought the feinmann a while back too as you may recall but after the first replacemtn due to creaking, this 2nd one has creaking issues now too and posts now on reddit about other people seeing the same, so many of us got the X2CL and it's everything the Feinmann appears to be in specs, but better sensor tuning and options in the app, and a better middle click and optical switches now.

The dots come with the Crazylight, I removed the stock skates which are actually very good.

You can certainly feel the 10g drop in weight on this vs the Feinmann, slightly smaller too:

I would rate it a better performing mouse than the more expensive Feinmann tbh.

What made you choose the x2 crazylight over something like the Xlite crazylight or the endgame gear op1 8k?

I already have the OP1 8K, it's OK but I prefer the Pulsar feel of the mice tbh and the back hump on Endgame is higher than what my pseudo grip style prefers.

Xlite CL dismissed as I fancied a return to ambi shape and a slightly smaller mouse for my grip style again, Xlite CL is right handed shaped, it's fine but again that low slung hump of the Feinmann/X2CL is what I prefer.

Also fancied something noticeably lighter than the Feinmann, the Xlite CL is only a few grams lighter.

It's a lovely colour as well, very tempted to order and give it a go. Did you get it direct from Pulsar? Or via the Rainforest?

Was from Amazon, saw it pop up with same day delivery, that's what got me:cry:

The weight is really noticeable for claw and fingertip grip styles, the lack of inertia when flicking and instant response due to the weight is excellent. Every gram helps for that sort of thing.
