Permabanned members

Might just be my perception but I don't recall seeing so many historical posts from permabanned-ees.

When I've been having a leisurely trawl through these forums it seems to me I'm seeing a lot more posts in threads where a member has been permabanned. Is this just something I've only just noticed or are permabans on the rise? Have we recently got a new mod with an itchy trigger finger?

Mods never state why people are banned. Weird really. I guess it just boils down to breaking of the rules.

Lot more people who get banned on one account making 'alt' accounts these days until the mods catch them.

Nobody else really needs to know why someone got banned. Admins and mods have the power and they use it.

You could just swear at a mod on here. You will get a free suspension and a reason why.

Or you could go one better and slate them for a permaban. 100% you will know why then.

Because why not? These people have typically been on here for a long time, so when they suddenly disappear (from our perspective) it would be interesting to know what the final reason was.
