Yeah, maybe so, and fair enough, but no more than some who scream bReXiT and subscribe to the death cult of global boiling.
But they seem to get a pass.
I don't know the guy, but he took his time to post what others would charge a fortune for, ie electrical & mechanical knowledge that was super useful for the OCUK members.
I liked his mechanical stuff, and the dogs etc, but it was hard sometimes to get past his views. Agree on the other things too...

He also continued to break the rules. So it's his own fault.

I think it’s clear the mods know who is acting in bad faith and who just gets carried away a little too often. I give them a lot of stick but at the same time, they’ve always been fair in their own rule set, even if you don’t agree with the rules. Can’t really ask much more of them than that.

As a company, hosting some interesting takes bordering on hate crimes, that’s another discussion, but I think it’s fairly clear that’s being monitored more thoroughly now and vastly improved.

It's almost poetic.

"Deleted member"

I've seen it a few times, maybe it's when someone gets deleted rather than banned. GDPR?

I saw it once re: a mod (or rather ex mod now) even, I'd remembered him being a bit stroppy publicly in one of the forums so god knows what happened behind the scenes for him to not only quit but also go all GDPR "ackchually delete all my data right now" on the store.
