Peroneal Tendon Surgery?

Anyone had this? I got a message from the doc that I need it as I have torn both tendons. His message was brief and I wont physically see him until Monday.

What amount of time can I expect to be off work? I have a desk job and its my left ankle so I can drive to a more local office as soon as I am able. I was just wondering if anyone could share their experience?

Not strictly true, your not allowed to ask "how do I treat such 'n' such?", you are allowed to ask "what are peoples experiences off such n such?".

Cool, well that will be good. I guess I can expect to be out for at least a week though as they say no standing during that first week. It's funny cos the medical and work insurance over here is much more different. For work the doc writes a letter to the insurance company, the insurance company then evaluates your injury and then basically tells you how long they will pay you to be of off work.

I think it's actually better than the UK as you don't get people trying to con more time from their firms

although I guess you can look at that both directions.
