Look the Dig IMO was boring and anti-climactic Grim Fandango was IMO a failed experiment to try and use 3d in a point and click adventure, Monkey Island 4 was a better example of 3d point and click but you could tell they were running out out of good comedy pirate material. However Sam & Max seasons 1 & 2 are just 100% pure old skool point & click

Just finished this, was an averagely good game. Tricky in parts & a crashing problen in places throughout the game. I did enjoy it though.

The Dig was awesome so nuff said there. Grim was a masterpiece so nuff said there too.

Anyone know the exact name of this:

The copy I have is "Rhodan: Myth of the Illochim"

At MyCheats.com it calls it "Rhodan: The Immortals of Terra"

Figured its the same game but wasn't sure which is the real name.

Looks breathtaking, but what's the gameplay like?

If it's just a long chain of "use-obscure object-with-seemingly-unrelated-device-to-generate-random-event-for-the -purpose-of-entering-the-next-map-where-you-will-be-required-to-repeat-this-process-under-a -slightly-different-guise-for-another-5-hours-of-linear-gameplay", I'm not interested.

It's called, "The Immortals of Terra: A Perry Rhodan Adventure". If you're into Sci-Fi you should like this as it's one of the best adventures I've ever played. The only disappointment is the ending. I wish they would do a sequel. The story would even make a great Sci-Fi movie.
