person of interest - coming soon to C5

first few episodes dont stand out but the shows just gets better and better until it turns into omfgbbqawesomemode towards the end of the series.

i cant wait for season 2

It's absolutely brilliant, especially the last 5 or 6 episodes in the season. Towards the middle of the season it got a little repetitive for me as the main story line for the season doesn't really emerge fully until the last 6 or so episodes. It's definitely definitely worth sticking with though. Granted the character development isn't all that, but every episode is action packed and keeps you well entertained. Can't wait for S2.

This about covers it I think, it really doesn't hit its stride until the last few episodes of the season which is a shame, because much like with Justified and Sons of Anarchy plenty of people will give up after a few episodes and miss out on the good stuff later on.

This, when taken as a whole the series is excellent.

Just watched episode 8 and I'm not sure why I'm still watching it tbh..

It just seems very episodic with not much of an over arcing storyline coming through. It's not bad, just seems a bit pointless and contrived atm. I will continue to persevere as the comments on here say it does pick up, but I agree the main actor is very wooden.

Give me series with more meat on their bones, like Breaking Bad, Dexter, Boss, Newsroom, Boardwalk Empire, this is nowhere near their league.

The main character's wooden-ness is who he is, I grew to like it a lot after initially finding it awful. There is an long storyline, but it comes later, much like virtually all modern US drama as the fear of cancelation is too high to commit to a long storyline. Fringe is the worst offender in this case, and look how good it turned out.

This. I love how hes portrayed, some of the banter between him and Finch is great! Disagree that it's bad acting, makes a nice change from the gobby in your face 'good guys' in other shows! Yeah at first they are just pretty much running through the numbers each episode, but once the back story starts to unfold it becomes brilliant. Think I watched 3/4 episodes a night at one point, couldn't put it down.

i've lost touch with this due it clashing with other things. i watched the first 3 ep's and enjoyed them.. i will watch the first series b2b over christmas.

first series hits awesome sauce about half way in

almost every episode is connected to the story arc its just not obvious until near the end of the season which imo is a nice change from most shows that hold your hand

I'm really enjoying this, but I have one major complaint.
The whole thing about Fusco killing the cop, when he didn't. Since they know about each other etc, why doesn't John/Fusco say what really happened?

I gave up with this halfway through season 1 when Channel 5 decided to delay showing the rest of it for a few months.

Bonkers decision.

I thought it was OK. I just can't be bothered getting back into it as I'd have to watch S1 from the start again.
