This guy's apparently retired according to his profile, I think he's just having an emorant/ late-night bipolar session he usually has every now and again.

They may be already be so low that they're banging against his knees.
 
Hahahaha I just googled emorant thinking it was a highly sophisticated word used to describe his state of mind... emo-rant...ahh! I should be sleeping :)

To be fair though, I do find such threads annoying, I don't get why their first thought is "I know, the the interwebs to tell all my e-buddies who will respond with meaningless generic comments that lack sincerity due to the nature of most people feeling the need to say such generic things in the first place."
