Thats right persuade me to join the Xbox 360 crowd, I was going to get a PS3 but as people say, theres no decent games at launch or any for the forseeable future?

Now what am I missing out on if I don't get a 360? List all the hottest titles.


But the thing is, once the PS3 is released, the 360 trend wont die off will it? I don't want to be left with a paperweight.
 
You're missing out on Dead Rising, beating zombies with fish just feels so right!!!
Not joking about this one, but you'd also be missing out on Amped3, it can be had for about £12 now and it is one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. Obviously if you don't like games like 1080/Coolboarders/SSX then you'd disagree, if you do though... It's a genius game!

Apparently Gears of War is something you'd be missing out on, I too am missing this. To treat myself for getting up before 9am today, I think I can justify buying it...

Edit: Also, the 360 has been too popular to be left as a paperweight after the PS3 is properly out.
 
Don't think anyone really needs to pesuade you. JUst have a look around at the games available, opinions on them etc. the 360 speaks for itself at the minute.
 
Not being silly here, but the Live Arcade title Geometry Wars is worth the price of the 360 in itself. I've played that more than anything else on the system and im still no good at it :)

If you liked GTA then you'll like Saints Row. It's more of the same but with some nice features as well as online gangsta brawling.

And yeah there's already quite a few good bundle deals around the place.

I'd definitely recommend getting a 360, I don't think there's anything 'special' about the PS3 that's worth waiting for.

dont be so stupid.

For god sake spend five minutes around the game sites and instantly you will see how strong the line up is for the next 18 months, and thats without any announcements beyod that time frame.

Its not a trend its a shift in consumer opinion, people are becoming less and less brand loyal and looking for the better product offering the best mixture of power, functionality and games. In this case, the 360 is on top, in the eyes of developers and (un biased)gamers.

There will be outstanding exclusives on each system, and each one will have a fantastic lifespan of quality games.

But looking at the next 18 months, at the hardware at developer support and at the current lineup, the 360 has the best, its unquestionable.
 
LIVE, playing with people on PGR3 or DOA4 never gets boring for me, I am rubbish at both but its just so much fun.

If you get a 360 to get the most out of it you need a premium hooked up to LIVE. :)
 
Tupac, you've given me some great advice in the past in General Hardware and the like...I'll give you some great advice now - buy an Xbox 360 :)
 
If its any help, i'm off to buy mine today :D

Watching NFS: Carbon on 360 review then playing it on my PS2 nailed my purchase, as much as i ADORE and will still play my PS2, the 360 really looks where its at right now, maybe the slowdown in PS2 games production now, also shifted it for me, right now i'm nervous & excited, i bought an xbox in 2003 and didn't really get along with it, but now its a new system, new hardware, step up, not across, and i think i'm gonna have a lot of fun on & offline with the 360 :D
