Hey everyone, i am 14 years old live with my mom and a sister. I currently own a PS2 which was bought for me approximately 2 years ago now......as everyone knows a PS3 is out now, so i asked my mom to buy me one and as you can all proberbly guess the answer was ......"no". So i told her that she can get 1 on eBay for as cheap as £20 quid in a bid but she still says "maybe"..........is there anyway i can persuade her?

How do you plan on winning an eBay auction by bidding £20 for a PS3?

Why should your Mum spend her money to buy you a PS3 in the first place? At 14 you should be able to get a paper round or something and earn the money yourself.

Without wanting to sound patronising, save up your 'pocket money', sell your PS2 and earn it rather than getting your mum to buy it for you. It will feel so much sweeter when you finally get your hands on it and it will most likely be cheaper by then too.

Try washing some cars, doing some gardening. Earn the money and the PS3 will be all the better.

And if that's all she can afford to give you then don't expect a ps3 off of her, you'll be needing a job, lad.

Best bet is to have a look at the completely listings, and find the lowest (authentic) auction to give yourself a rough idea of price.
