PES 11

Thoughts?

I can see it slowly coming together for PES.

It's already a lot better than pro 10.

It's gonna take some getting used to and a lot of effort on the users part, but it looks like it could be a next gen version of pro 5.

Which is a good thing, as that's my favorite version ever.

Graphics look great, player models feel more solid than Fifa's, and i don't know what all the complaints are about the running animations, they look fine to me.

I've only played one game, so i can't give a really good impression, but its positive so far.

Pro evo has gone backwards since number 6 in my veiw. I really enjoyed online in evo 6 even though there was a lot of cheaters online. 2v2 play and the groups you could make was awesome.

I'm a massive pro evo fan so i am hoping this one is a return to form i am downloading the demo now so i will report back soon.

Had a quick game before work. First impression after playing a single match was pretty good. It felt 'right' after the clunkiness and unresponsive play of 2010. Much more fluid. Passing will take a bit of getting used to but it seemed promising. Didn't score though and lost to a last minute goal, due to poor defending by me. Need more practise.

Aye, it is more polished with respect to the feeling of the passing etc.

The cpu a.i. hasn't been improved much, played against Bayern at the top level difficulty and it still can't give you a decent match.

The cpu a.i. is still soooooooo kick and rush lol, really boring, which makes me think the be a legend mode will still be mediocre because of the a.i.

Really hard to gauge as we don't know what the % of final build it is and then it is remaining to see if the online lag issue has been resolved.

The demo is better than the last few versions, but still some of the problems from the previous versions hasn't been improved much by the look if it.

Barca ripped me apart playing at the highest difficulty, with me as Bayern! The AI seemed ok to me to be fair :) I'm liking the little touches like the power bar being under & player name being over the player, the way the camera level at kick off pans up slightly to the match view.

Passing and through balls seem a lot more instinctive now too, I've pulled off some lovely balls for attackers to run on to. Havent had enough free kicks to really check them out, but it seems fouls are given appropriately, and there's always a close up replay of them.

Only played a game and a half, I'm loving the 'feel' of it, the pace is good, the graphics are great - the players feel and look solid - shooting feels like it's going to take a bit of practice to get it right, I've only managed to score a diving header so far. I did somehow manage to flick the ball over a defender whilst turning and shoot, but I'm not sure that particular shot has landed yet ;)
