any one looking forward to the new pes release, iam i hope its better then last years heres a few screenshots of 2010, but i think some of the new feautres could ruin the game see scrrens below

now this screen shot worries me, anybody who has a decent knowledge of football will see what i mean can you see it

one of the new feautres in pes 2010 is the ability to call more defenders to close down the player with the ball, yeh sounds realistic but look at the above picture again look how out of line the barca defence is the too center back should be around the penalty spot with the left back covering the far post but in the above picture one center back is out the box and the other is halfway between the penalty spot and the edge of the box with the left back on the penalty spot so luck how much space is left for the attcking right winger hes free. i hope this is just a one of and is fixed yeh it is realistic for sunday league

The lighting certainly looks a hell of a lot better. Just hope the gameplay is! I still enjoyed 2009 for a while but I haven't played it in a couple of months

You've always been able to call defenders to attack the guy with ball. The risk being exactly what you said, you pull them out of position. It Was present in 08 and 09.

yea but thats was buy holding another button, look ate the first pes 10 trailer and the latest one its built in this time and on the first trailer its got 3 defenders closing the right winger down

Looking at the pics seems they have stayed with the soppy looking run animation which plagued pes 2008/2009 for that alone I wont be buying.

But as we all know what really matters is the final product netcode.

I am hoping fifa 10 will be fifa09 without the annoying online aspects and maybe fewer jaggies.

i carnt believe some people like fifa 09 on the pc it was SHOCKING!!!! i never liked fifa but i must admit it is catching pes fast on the console. but the pc version is way behind next gen my arse the graphics are on par with pes 6

PES used to be a pre-order game in my eyes but after the last one Im not even interested in when this comes out. If i see a few good comments on here then I might take a look when it drops heavily in price but tbh im not looking forward to either PES or FIFA.

I hope they have new commentry for this one, i nearly through 09 out the window when i heard all the same sayings as 08.

yea thats the one before pes 6 aint it that was one of the best, the thing i missed most was the online 2v2 groups matches they were good if pes 10 has group matches i think a lot of players will come back,

I doubt PES will catch FIFA now.

Which pains me as I prefer the PES style of play.

They've announced it will have 360° dribbling. Purely they've done this as Fifa '10 will have it.

If they get their finger out their you know what for the first time in five years, cut out some of the silly bugs and improve the lag online, personally they will have a winner.

Needs a massive engine overhaul.

It's probably better on the PC but if you have any access to a console, the 360/PS3 version of FIFA09 rips it to shreds, spectacularly.

Think the whole point people slate fifa09 here is this is the PC forum and not the console forum
I'm looking forward to PES2010, quite liked and still playing pes2009.
And from comments I've seen it seems Fifa10 on the PC will be another Fifa09 in that it's not the same game as on the consoles.

This and the stupid offsides when the players dont even touch the ball!
also the fact that the goal kicks will NEVER go the way you direct it to go!

DEMO IS OUT AT 09:00 TODAY

The Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 playable demo will be on XboxLive, PSN, and PC networks from September 17th and will feature six teams to play with:
Liverpool FC
FC Barcelona
Spain
Italy
France
Germany
The demo will be available on the following formats at the following times:

PC available approx 9am GMT

Not that I will be purchasing either game this year, as they are as realistic as George Best was sober... but ive read somewhere that reviewers/previewers saw only 70% of the finished PES code and that it at that stage was miles ahead of FIFA 10 100% code....

I take it with a pinch of salt but someone with more interest in either game could probably dig stuff up.
