PES 2013

I also used to be a die hard PES fan until PES 2008 on Xbox 360. Since then they have been woeful, though 11 & 12 were starting to get better. However, I have to say PES 2013 is a really good game based on the demo and reminds me of the glorious PS2 PES releases. It's been a long time since I've said that! Really looking forward to the full release now.

Good game imo
Got the full version, obviously needs all the editing to make ML playable as I cant handle fake names etc, but its enjoyable. Game feels free, where as FIFA always felt on some sort of rails to me, balls would nicely curl into someones feet etc - where as manual PES you have to work at making decent moves out of things.
Bit slower than id like but again a mod will change that, as at +2 speed settings its still a bit slow for me.
All the off field stuff is horses for courses ie ML, Boots DLC etc in the main the offline side of things is similar across games anyway. But definately plays a good game and something you can enjoy... its not all about end to end, theres plenty of midfield battles, scrapping it out down the channels and out wide.
Nice weight feel to the ball as well, you can really connect with things or you also know if you dont get it right its a bit floaty. Animations i like, skills are nice but not over the top that there is a 'goto' move as it stands, goals always feel rewarded in PES to me and they do in this one.
Its a different game to FIFA, sounds silly to say that but I cant see FIFA fans converting as it plays differently, yes its football, but each franchise replicates that in their own way and im not sure you will get many crossover fans either way.
Online havent tried and never do, not my cup of tea in sport games.

Unfortunately, Konami seem afraid of digital distribution.
They seem to have partnered through Gamesplanet for exclusive digital distribution which is a shame as it is the worst service, EVER in the history of digital distribution.
Gamesplanet gave me a refund so Shopto for the Win but personally, I too would prefer digital distribution.

I have to say though, I am a long time PES player and love this years incarnation.

Currently running the PeSBox Anatolia mod and think it is SUPERB.

are there any mods which improve fatigue in Master League. My players only ever get tired after an International. I'm in the Europa League now, playing two games a week, and my first eleven is always fully rested even with only two days between a game.
It's really annoying as it gives me no incentive to use any of my fringe players. I can play the entire season with the same eleven players. It's dull.
Otherwise this is the best Master League (and PES) in many years. Fatigue just needs to be more important.

Can you just buy a CD Key from CJS and then torrent the install and it is completely legal/legit?
Really tempted to buy it for the master league stuff, single player FIFA is a bit dull, also is the online still laggy as ever?
As far as I know, yes, a valid key is all that is needed.
Online is good this year.
Not sure which version you are refeering to but has been good for at least the last couple of years.
The online was dodgy after the switch to "new gen" but as been fine since then.

Online in 2012 was much improved.
2013 has continued in the same vein.
2009 was totally shocking online if I remember correctly. It improved over the year but was very bad at launch. To be fair, I do not think the console infrastructure helps for P2P gaming.

Nice one fella, I downloaded the game and used my Official key but my game keeps crashing. Do you have a modded .exe that would enable me to play?
I should have just purchased the game retail but I didn't realise Konami's distribution laws.
