PES6 - PS2

hi, are u experienced with Max drives etc?

the cd is very difficult to load properly, due to its size. mine doesnt fit in flush, and usually takes 4-5 tries of slowing the tray down as it goes in to make sure it doesnt jump the grooves in the CD tray when i insert the PS2 disc.

have a play around, and hold the tray back slightly as its going in to smooth it off because it jerks quite a bit and skips loose, and then doesnt get picked up by the PS2 laser equip, and makes a whirring/doesnt spin up properly.

Yeah, ive used it on PES5 fine after about the 6th go, but what do you mean the size? mines just a normal standard CD. :confused:
 
I hated my max-drive, went back to the trusty old x-port. Personally I found it a lot easier to use, plus the fact that I would lose the max drive for 6 months at a time.. :o

u jammy git lol, with mine i got 2 half size CD's (one for ps2 one for PC)

ikts a NIGHTMARE using half sized CD on PS2 because the PS2 tray is soo jerky in its movements when it closes it is damn difficult to get the small CD in the exact right spot to allow the PS2 to spin up the disc when the tray is all the way in!
 
Online seems to be working ok now. I'm having some problems though. Being kicked off when I'm hosting after a few minutes. Second half or first half.
 
cant get online here its very slow and when i do play i loose the connection after about 30secs, not sure whats going on.any1 else?
 
It was working fine last night apart from the fact that you could only play half a game! Going to try again now. From the comments i've heard from various pro evo boards it's still the same half time connection lost error for most people.
 
Actually managed to have 2 games in a row earlier fine. Menu's and everything were fast too, in the third game though we lost connection at half time.

Seems to be much better than it was now. Fantastic online too. :)
 
Just a heads up people..

You can play on the French/English friendly server without having any disconnects during the game. I played about 5 games last night before going to bed. No problems!
 
cant play again, this is very poor by konami- youd have thought they would have sorted out the servers, still cant get online its been a week -useless

Me either today, around 5 is when it seems to be at it's worst though, servers are too busy to cope I think. Try playing in the morning or very late at night, it's been perfect for me this way a few times.
