He's got enough money to buy all he wants anyway.

Simple truth is that this is only an issue for the press for as long as we take notice. Just treat him as the nothing that he is and ignore him. If he wants to kill himself, let him. Problem solved.

Injecting heroin into some unconcious girl whilst she was lying on his (or his mates, can't remember) kitchen floor - lock him up.
 
That above accusation comes from One still photo where he could quite easily have been removing the needle.
Many smack heads Gouch out with the needle still in there arm.

Gouch out = Semi coma state induced by recent IV hit.
 
indeed. The press will bend anything to make a good story. If anyone saw the program on Pete Doherty the other er.. week (just a load of cut together footage) this is made extra clear by the journalist that was on there.
I think he has the potential to actually get off drugs and you could see that, when he is off them he's an entirely different person, who does know that he needs to break his addiction and does want to.
 
like someone said, its only because he is in the public eye that people are thinking he is getting let off more than others.

hes not, the court has junkies up all the time, and not many actually get sent down.
 
I love his music, he's a genius musician, going to see him at the weekend as it happens. He's seemed a decent enough guy in interviews ive seen, i especially like his dislike for the media. He's just dug himself into a deep hole, and seems to be struggling to get out.

Fair enough if he's taking the stuff himself, but something only ought to be done if he's harming/dealing other people.

That was him taking some blood if i remember rightly, for some sort of art he does with different people blood :confused:
 
Being addicted to drugs doesn't make him a bad person. In fact, i think i even rate him above those in this thread that hope he kills himself or has an overdose. You sound like wonderful people.

well not really. i dont know of many people sent to prison for "possesion". when you factor in the potentially committed crimes of most addicts - that is why they are likely to get more of a bad rap from the judges.

i know of soemone in my area caught with a 9 bar of resin, he is getting done for possesion - unlikely to go to jail even though he had quantity.

Sorry but wtf. We have cheek wanting someone who flouts the law quite openly properly punished? Who gives a **** how much he pays in taxes, that doesn't have anything to do with it.

He may be only harming himself but not exactly setting a good example for his younger fans is he? Secondly can't exactly commend him for bolstering the profits of drug dealers, they aren't exactly up-standing members of society are they.

A jail sentence isn't really suitable with the current state of our prisons but a far heftier fine than £770 is in order!
 
he probably doesn't even want to quit; a good reason why his rehab isn't working!

surely if you wanted to quit, you just would stop buying drugs in the first place
 
Cant believe he's banging Kate Moss, im deffo going wrong somewhere, looks like ill have to start wearing tracky's, doing drugs, go about with a can a lager in my hand 24/7 etc..., jesus ill be beating the gits off with sticks then.

gallows i say! fix all the problems, and we wont even need prisons, remove limbs/hands/feet etc for lesser offenses, eg stealing, and rope for the serious ones

The illegal drugs trade that he helps to fund does massive damage to innocent people's lives in countries all over the world.

ahh yes, i forgot that the tax earned by the government does the exact opposite (iraq anyone?), imported cigs (terrorism?), whilst costing the NHS further costs down the line for potential surgery (which is to a degree compensated for by tax..).
