Petrol Prices , highest i've seen it!

There couldn't of been that much of a difference though surley, nearlly every where I went petrol was about £1.20 a litre and Diesel about £1.30 a litre.

That's what happens when you have a one-eyed idiot in power

I was in Yeovil (Somerset) last week and a few stations had it at 98.9 and 99.9. Got it at 91.9 at an Asda, 92.9 everywhere here in Woking/Guildford (Surrey)

All regular unleaded.

I paid 96.9p for Tesco's 99 this morning, thats up 3p from last week. It had gone up around 1p a week for the 2 or 3 weeks previous to that. It'll be over £1 again in the next week or two.

its about 62p at the moment but will automatically up by 1-2p when VAT goes back to 17.5%

so actually on a pump price of 95p then there is 33p available to distribute between the entire supply chain in profits, from the seller, distributor retailer etc.

lovely government, wonder why they keep quiet when people protest about fuel company profits

It is interesting how Gordon Brown said last July he would freeze duty for 1 year.

Since then, it has risen twice, by a total of 4p. Has there ever been such a large increase in duty before in the history of petrol?
