Where i live its 85.9p Unleaded and 91.9p for Diesel.

Yep Me Toooo, Swindon's Nice and Cheap!!.... Asda Walmart (24hr Pump) fluctuates between 85.9-86.9p for unleaded (dunno about Diesel as I use petrol!!)

Could pay 84.9 from Morrisons but I'm stuffed if I'm putting supermarket fuel in my beasties.

87.9 from Shell it is.

As I understand it they use the stuff which has sat about a bit longer so won't be as potent.

I may well be wrong. Anyway, filling up a Lotus at Morrisons is hardly the image I'm going for :p.

Im glad we dont have those prices down here.
I wish we had your car prices though :D
Why are your petrol prices so high? I would have thorght you would be cheaper then us

Australia is a big country, people have to drive miles and so the tax can be lower as the government still gets a good tax return due to people driving long distances just to see friends etc. Same as USA.

Over here its a lot more crowded, people don't drive as far and so taxes are higher.

That's one way of looking at it anyway

Heres a question then:

Would you like all your journeys to be made twice as long and tax on fuel to be halved.

No you wouldn't as this would cost you more in petrol, but the government get less tax so this is good right ? ;)

38.8p / Litre here :D

for 1 tank of petrol, I can get almost 3 tanks of LPG, and get about 35miles less per tank on LPG
Gotta love it

drove past morrisons in Reading today, 81.9UL and 84.9diesel.

Not half bad really (not that i pay fuel :p)

I bet america only pays about 10p a litre :(
It would be nice to have petrol the same (low) price right around the world
Current price is about US $2.15 / gallon, which comes to 33p / litre.

Remember, though, we don't have anywhere near the convenience of public transportation that you do. :(

lol you are all complaining about paying 88-90p. Wait and see what it is gonna be in about 4-5 years time. Then we can all cry together.
