petrol prices

V power is usually the last thing to sell up, thats great cause i will let all the plebs run the normal petrol tanks dry then drive into an empty filling station and get a full tank :)

Local Esso garage was sucked dry when I was there at 9pm last night, thanks panic buyers, obviously missed the bit about Shell garages only.

No VPower when I went to fill up  Had to put their normal (premium?) in. Still £71 to brim it (had single digit miles left in the tank).

There was a long queue for petrol earlier - i had to get some as i was in the red. Quite chaotic! Couple of pumps were dry. Bug poo petrol is the way to go!

I do hope these panic buy muppets have got a grip by next weekend, have 450 miles to do on Monday/Tuesday.

I'm off to France on Thursday night, there had better be enough left to get me to Dover :p

The tanker drivers for shell, who supply around 17% of the UK's petrol are on strike.

That sucks , sorry to hear that .

Last time we had problems like that was a few year back when those 4 huricanes hit Florida .

When the first one hit , everything was kool but as soon as everyone heard of the 2nd and 3rd hurricanes comming back to back , everyone sold out of gas and plywood in the entire state .

According to the news if they don't reach a settlement by next weekend they are going to do the exact same thing and keep doing it every week until they get what they want, I wanted to take a look at a car down London way next weekend to :(

Take the train? Fly? Drive?

Driving down with a mate was the plan but I'm worried about filling both cars up for the journey back, its rather dry at the petrols stations by me only got half a tank as it is.

Flying or train would be to much of a hassle as the two I want to see are rather spaced out from each other.
