Petrol spend yearly estimate

i put about £100 - £120 / month in now but my weekly commute now is literally about 10 miles :o, the rest is pleasure / shopping trips.

75 miles a day commute plus some long trips at the weekend mean im using about a tank a week, at £60 a go im looking at £250 a month, making me £3000 pa.

I really though I would be quite high, but... just going back on the spead sheet ( mine is super accurate)... £19119.... but thats for 10 years exactly, 1900 a year aint bad

bullit

I recorded my petrol expenses on a spreadsheet, but unfortunately didnt have the CTR for a full 12months, i was 2 weeks short when i had my accident... in this 50weeks I spent £3021 on petrol and averaged 28mpg.

Do you claim all of the mileage back? Wondering why you have records for such a period?

it's all personnel mileage over several cars( but all mine).
it's just something I do so I know what I have in my accounts at all times. just so happens the it's exactly 10 years that the record go back for.... MS Money

I can log groceries and other spends , really usefull...

bullit

I am finding it hard to understand how logging spend information is useful? (Genuinely, as i do not record anything non business related). :o

My accounts show a fairly large turnover therefore everything is incredibly hard to track, but really does it matter where money goes as long as you have not wasted it? You buy what you are going to buy....

Probably about £400 :p

Love working 3.5miles away from work :D

I think my mum wins (or loses?) this thread. She took her brand new car in for it's first year service back in march. The mileage? 1800miles :o So about 4 maybe 5 tanks of fuel in a year :p

14-15 to the gallon round town, too depressing to work out over a year :)

No idea, as I dont record it, but about 6k at about... 21mpg.

So about £1300.

Going to be about twice that soon, lol.

About a grand for me, similar mpg and slightly fewer miles.

About £2k in the last year. The next 12 months will probably be about half that.
