According to the specs, they have indeed improved the wheel a lot going by this information i cant wait to get it ;)

Actually its not hype, the kone+ did not have the Omron activation switches and did not have the titan scroll wheel............

anyhow i will soon know as my mouse arrives tomorrow and i will be able to tell as i will have both kone+ and xtd side by side..

Give it 6 months and the kone XTD+ will have super Omron switch technology and a mega titan wheel. :rolleyes:

Honestly wish companies would ditch the marketing BS, it's getting beyond a joke. There have been perfectly good scroll wheels for years in other branded mice, and they even work reliably. If a component is causing product failures then just fix it - there's no need for hyperbole at the same time.
 
Pure looks nice. Does it have the thumb buttons on both sides? I've stuck with my Lachesis for the symmetrical thumb buttons.

Yeah i had the kone+ before, The XTD scroll wheel is far better. More rugged and responsive. :)
 
received my pure today and its awesome, changed colour to red to match my qpad mk-85, now to try bf3!!!
The product feels nice to the touch and feels a quality product, nice one roccat and ocuk for the service :)

oh and it speaks to you!!! tells you which sensitivity your using which is great in game
