PGCE / Teaching Programme's accepting late applications

If you are seriously considering teaching, get as much experience as you can. Working as a TA in a school will hugely help you. TA positions are advertised all the time, so keep an eye out.
 
Have you considered re-training as a Maths specialist? There's still a huge shortage in some areas and I think bursary's are available.
