does anybody know what it means when trying to go online during your career profile for a online race, when it says 1 or more of the logged in profiles isnt suitable for liveplay. or words to that affect.

yeah, you have 2 or more profiles signed in.

and only 1 is allowed to be signed in.

howw do i make sure only 1 is signed in.
infact i think ive only got 1 profile

if you've only got one profile it's possible you only have xbox live silver.

however, if you've played PGR3 online before then ignore the above sentance! if you haven't you'll have to get xbox live gold (one off payment of £39.99 for 12 months or you can pay £5 a month).

Perhaps he was using the Xbox Live Gold free trial and has run out so it has reverted back to Silver

Only thing I can think of is to press the Guide button on the controller (the big one in the middle between the back and start buttons) and see if your profile is the one that is logged in and that you have a connection to Xbox Live

cheers its the silver answer i had the 1 month gld trial and have now dropped down to silver.
