PGR3 Really Dark?

Just recieved this game today and it seems really good, quite tough but god fun. Quite enjoying driving my Lambo GTR

But the graphics seem really dark :confused:

anyone else have this problem? I've set my projector to dynamic which makes things more vivd but there are still times when I can't make out where I'm going albiet momenterily

Is there ingame settings you can tweak at all?

All I can think is that there is an issue at your end because I have no issues what-so-ever with darkness.

I can't find any

theres a test screen which allows you to tweek the settings of your display but seemingly no adjustments in the game :/

I'll try it later, theres no problem with the display though its fine with all other games.

Certain tracks can be quite dark for me (Nurburgring in particular) but not so dark I cant play the game.

I am using an unofficial cable though, maybe that makes a difference.

you using component per chance?? if so thats probably the problem, i find component a bit dark

I'm on component and there's the odd dark section on some tracks, but not all the time.

im on component and don't get any dark issues on pgr3

VGA is much better than component for brightness. Tried component when I was back home on my 32" Sony and the brightness was not bright

Yeah component is much darker, I had to adjust my TV after going from VGA to Component.

Yeah, PGR3 is a dark game - try and use the in-car view if that's possible for you, a lot brighter.

I prefer the one without the stuff around me, the next in-car view that's closer to the ground, if that makes sense.

I do use component, switched through my Denon AV amp, it will be hard to use DSUB, its over there but the PC uses it and I would have to buy a KVM which I don't really want to do, all the games bar PGR3 have been fine anyway its just a darn shame there is no in game gamma adjustment
