I preferred PGR3, though some of the achievements in PGR4 were great and the weather was fantastic.

Forza 2 has loads of cars and tracks to get to grips with and very realistic handling and racing so I suppose it depends on how much you like motorsports really. Forza 2 is ace imo. PGR is excellent as well but has more of the immediate buzz about it rather than needing development of skill and racecraft which is why i'd guess some people get bored of forza 2.

I got bored of Forza as it got boring. The single player lacked variety of tracks, and towards the end of the single player career it became a chore and I didnt enjoy it, just wanted to complete it as Id put a lot of time in.

It is an unbelievable steal at £10, but just could have been a lot better with a greater variety of tracks.

Hmm i'd say from experience that once you reach a certain point it becomes less of a chore if you've developed the right degree of competency and indeed enjoy racing games with some depth.
Also forza has loads of different types of circuit I don't see what more variety you could have. But I take your point, if you want a racing game that is just a blast then buy pgr.

I got PGR4 from a well known shop for £14.99 :D

Forza was good by the way, but got boring waaaaaaaaaaaaay to quickly :)

Had hopes and dreams of reaching level 50 ;)

Ive got to level 14 just from playing multiplayer, I havent tried career or anything yet. Not bored so far and most people seem to be ok online

Why would PGR4 be better then forza, better handling or just more variety?

I quit single player gt4 as soon as it got to le mans and 200mph cars, not fun really

I know I've put about 20x as much time into Forza 2 as PGR4 so far.

It's good online, but the SP campaign was rubbish due to the limited number of tracks. You end up racing about 60 laps of Laguna Seca in a row across 4 different events, it just becomes tiresome.

I disagree, the single player campaign was great up until the point where you start noticing the lack of track variety. After that I stopped playing, I didn't keep going to the point where it was a chore. PGR4 on the other hand, I can't get into despite having finished PGR3. I wish I knew why but I don't.
