I want to use the PC............... was a pita to put it back and get dual monitor working in the correct order, took me 20 mins to fiddle it so the Start button would be on the left monitor instead of the right one.

UltraMon will do that all for you in about 10 seconds.
If you can wait a month you could pick up a KVM, I believe OcUK sell some. A cheap Belkin one would be great until your TV arrives.
