Should be a sticky for what happened to DM.... It gets explained at least 3 times a week, since he dissapeared.

I think that was part of the guys point, he knew exactly what he was doing and fair play to him, but yes most people think the internet is a passport to lie whenever they can :p

That green bentley continental speed for example ?

Dealership Demonstrator. You get the idea ... He tripped up when he took money from a member to perform a check on a car he offered to go see, then proceeded not to check the car or go see it and pocketed the money.

Ironically that car came in and sat in the car park for a few weeks just after (a matter of days) it kicked off on here. Ended up being exported to the Caribbean IIRC.

Maybe he it was a troll within a troll, and he's sunning himself in the Caribbean with a glass of Scotch in one hand and the keys to his GTSS in the other as we speak ;)...

It was by far the most 'interesting' thing to happen here for a good long while.

Even being one of the remember with the most amount of egg on their face after the whole incident I can personally look back on it with relative fondness. It was a dark time in my life (not DM influenced but that certainly didn't make it better), but the "debacle" was so crazy and off the wall it actually made it bearable for me. I'm not sure about anybody else, but I had fun. I hope that I was not the only one that did.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again just to be clear, I don't condone anything that he did, least of all the scamming of members on here. You don't **** on your door step and ultimately that was his demise (although I suspect the Elite crew were pretty close to undercovering the truth anyway ;))
 
That's what I mean, the scamming and the nasty attitude from him that crept out. Entertaining it may have been but at a lot of people's expense. Anyway I'm done and it's good to have you back :)

I loved it, forum drama is my life, it is why I'm probably going to commit suicide should I not be made a mod any time soon.

We knew a lot but for various reasons couldn't say anything and it was handled as well as could be expected.
