Phanteks Eclipse G400A

The dull, plain panel behind the intake fans before the motherboard tray is disappointing and makes the case look a bit cheap. Pressing some kind of design into this panel would look so much better.

This seems to be often over looked by case manufacturers as the new Lian Li 207 has a similar ugly plate.

Mine arrived this afternoon.

After a quick unboxing, I'm really pleased with it. It will be a nice upgrade over my old Evolv X case.

I did ditch the tiny screw that holds the lower chamber panel on and replaced it with a standard thumb screw.

I would have carried over the vent pattern from the front panel to the side vents. It would have made the PSU and cables more visible, but I think the air flow and aesthetics would have been better.

I finished mine yesterday and it looks fantastic but a few things to consider

The side GPU intake mesh/perforations are so small/dense it's hardly pulling in any air with 3 Noctua NF-F12 fans at 1000 RPM

The top mount isn't offset from the Mobo so if you are using a thicker then standard AIO like a Arctic Cooler it will interfere with 8 pin motherboard power. I had to use the factory flat style power cables rather than custom sleeved as didn't have room for the curve.

The front panel connectors are only long enough to go through the first bottom cable cut out if your headers are at the bottom of your board. This cut out is very small and barely leaves enough room for 2 PCIe power cables for your GPU you will not fit a third if your GPU requires it!

I had no issues with cable management at the back mine ended up nice and clean with no side panel bulge.

Temps are excellent over my old case and this thing is gorgeous still need to finish the RGB.

If Phanteks had continued the mesh pattern from the front panel to the side vents and top that would have been incredible and a big miss by Phanteks.
