Phanteks Evolv ATX - An Update

So, a lot of people have been asking me about the Evolv ATX Case. I had a meeting with Phanteks recently, and despite the tooling problems, I should be able to place my initial orders near the end of April. I am awaiting further information on what colours will be available, but I expect it will be Black/Gunmetal Grey to begin with. Price/spec everything else is TBC, but I would like to see stock with OcUK in June

Great news! June sounds like a great time to empty the bank account, maybe the £ to $ will be better by then as well.

*BUMP* Turns out that Black/Gunmetal Grey will be the first available colours. Still looking for stock to land in June also.

Are we still looking at June for these to land? Thinking about a mobo upgrade but 1155 Micro-ATX boards are getting very thin on the ground, espcially ones that can do SLI.

dunno why u have window one side and button and usb on the other

love a micro with the usb/audio and power button on the front

Personally I think it looks much neater and wouldn't want it any other way!

I got my power and usb next to a wall, Its a pain when you need to use the front usb ports

So, a little update for you all. I now have these on order, Black and Gunmetal versions. I've not seen one in the flesh (yet) but am awaiting a sample. Going on the specs and images, it looks absolutely superb, and I think it will satisfy a hell of a lot of people who loved the original Evolv but needed something bigger. I'll post more info when I can but rest assured, it'll be worth the wait

Do you know a rough price for the gunmetal grey version? I'm guessing around £140 ish.

They need to make a white version, like they did for the mATX

RRP is yet to be determined, but £140 is a good shout

Hmm, what to do, what to do... Gonna be getting parts together over the next week or 2 (motherboard, cooler & case then 2nd gpu) to upgrade my rig, it's all waiting on the case and whether I stay mATX or go full ATX... I'm guessing its still gonna be mid June before these are in stock, or are we talking a week or 3?

In all honesty, it's going to be the very end of June, early July before we see these in stock I think.

Ok, thanks for the info. Will stick with my current plan and try to find a mATX mobo in that case
