*** Phanteks EVOLV Owners Thread ***

There's a chap over in the USA who just got an email from Phanteks saying the Gunmetal version is indeterminately delayed. But they are still getting the black one on the 17th. We shall be very lucky chaps getting ours ahead of everyone else :D

Thank goodness my Mrs is now on holiday and will be able to accept delivery as I'm not home for another week.

Can you do me one small favour? Can you measure the front panel width (where it cuts in) and the height of the same section.

I've just added the dimensions to the OP (I only listed the package dimensions), 495mm in height.

Dimension: 235 mm x 495 mm x 510 mm (W x H x D) 9.25 in x 19.5 in x 20.1 in

Hmm I'm kinda feeling the same, I was gonna camo mine up. I'll have to see it in the flesh and have a good long think about it.

You can tell by the noise of the pump when the bubbles pass through, start stop the pump vent the pressure, give here a shake and squeeze the tubing. Once the noise of cavitation goes away you've cracked it :)
 
Guys on the top panel there are five cut-outs either side, are these cut-outs able to be illuminated from underneath? If yes would 60cm strip be long enough to cover the five slots? Thanks

60 seems a bit long, the case is only 50 deep and the slots take up abot 40.

Easy enough to illuminate just slid the rad tray out stick some leds in and light the darkness :)

Thanks Rustyone, I'm thinking to have them Red and Green either side to mimic the Port and Stbd navigation lights of a ship for my themed build ;) The strips I'm looking at only come as 30cm or 60cm but I guess they can be trimmed anyway.

I'm gonna use Darkside LP rads they are only 27mm I'm also on the hunt for slimline fans, anyone recommend anything other than the Parvum ones they seem to be my favourite atm.

Yeah it might look odd for sure, I just need to see the case in the flesh and see how my plan will fit. I want to save as much space as possible for the res I want to have made in the drive bay area.
I'm unsure as to whether to use clear hardline or polished copper, depends on coolant cooler I guess the copper might not show off the effect I'm after.

My case arrived my wife says, in a cruel joke she told me she sent it back because I'm going to be home a week late and she's none to happy about it. Nearly fell for it, but turns out she did accept delivery...phew !

I've added you to RoH RED, I hope your cpu works ok. Don't think I'd be too happy if mine showed up crushed in the box like that.
