Only had 15 mins to work on it after work but got most of the rivets back in

starting to take shape! Should be able to get it back together fully tomorrow and then start on braiding the cables. Thinking of using grey now instead so i don't overdo the purple.

So worth the wait to see pics, looks awesome mate. Maybe a mix of grey and purple cables? Splash of black or white to mix it up? Gonna look amazing either way!

ordered a few different shades of grey to play around with on the cables, i'll see what i can do ^^ still not decided on the motherboard yet, I'm hoping for the new chipset to come out soonish so i get to see a new range of boards but there doesn't seem to be an exact date yet.

Probably going to make a fool of myself here (again) as I may be getting mixed up on chipsets, but the MSI X99S SLI Plus is a gorgeous looking board, used in the Project Erebus build currently a few posts down. Pretty much plain black with no overt flashes of colour - could give a good base to build off of?

The X99 boards are nice but the only Micro ATX they have is the Gigabyte gaming, which i can get in Z97 anyway and it means i can just use the RAM from my old PC instead of getting DDR4.
