Phanteks RMA contact

my revolt pro died a while back, if you brought it from ocuk, phanteks told me to contact ocuk and they delt with it. althougth i did email ocuk the email from phanteks with them asking me to contact ocuk ps i emailed the phanteks usa email
I assumed that might be the response I was going to get from them since ocuk are now their new UK distributor but not heard anything from phanteks at all.

I'll be honest, I'd be happy with a similar value/spec replacement. Dual system was more of a headache than it was worth n I have no intention of doing it again. Just a shame it murder suicided my 6800xt when it died.

sorry missed that bit about your gpu, mention it in the email/contact i would have thought if the psu killed the gpu it should be covered

ive only ever used Phanteks RMA once and ocuk gave me the UK service center email.
it did take then about 48hr to contact me. but that was about 2009

do they even have a UK center anymore
the uk one was amazing when i used it, but i think you are right i think its gone and only the us one hence ocuk dealing with it :)

If you want them to replace the gpu as well I doubt if you will get any joy from Currys, they probably won't be interested anyway as it's over a year old and will tell you to go through Phanteks.

Finally, after nearly 2 weeks, joining their discord, joining Reddit to post on their sub I've got someone to respond on FB messenger. Let's see what happend

I've had plenty of phanteks products and never had any issues with any of em. 1st time I've had to contact them for anything and do far I'm not impressed. Shame as I liked the look of the new evolve case for a new build later in the year but I doubt I'll buy phanteks products again if this is how their cs and RMA process is.

So, after nearly a month I've finally got a response from phanteks. They've agreed to RMA and refund. Told me to contact Currys to arrange the RMA with overclockers. And as expected, Currys have no clue about the RMA and won't do a damn thing. Emailed phanteks again but I guess I'll give oc a ring in the morning since their supposedly aware about the RMA too according to phanteks. Only taken a month to get somewhere

That's pretty poor support.

I have a Revolt 1000W PSU bought from OCUK so hoping if it ever goes boobies up they'll sort it fuss free.

I'm hoping. If I can cut Currys out completely that'll save a bit of a headache but I doubt it since the payment was made directly through them. I'll just call oc in the morning as they may be able to send info to them about the RMA rather than me waiting another month for a response from phanteks

currys are awful for returns/rma's. I sent back a monitor within 24 hours of receiving as the monitor was DOA. They setup collection and then when they received the monitor 2 days later (dpd confirmed the delivery including the name of the person that signed for it) they said they never received it and would not be able to refund me even though i wanted a replacement. after 3 months of nothing but hassle and help from financial ombudsman they found my monitor in the warehouse and returned it to me completely destroyed, cracked and all. Reason for the damage customer inflicted damage, even though they had the item in the warehouse for 3 months and i had the monitor for less than 24 hours. another 3 months later they refunded me in full and offered 50% off my next purchase to the value of £180 the total cost of the monitor i returned lol. Of course i used this to my advantage and currys retracted the offer in less then 24 hours even with email proof of the 50% off. never used them again since.

However, i hope you get this sorted soon. let this be a lesson, don't use currys for anything pc related as that is the bulk of their return issues and very well documented.
