HAHAHA why are they bothering, could they have picked a better time to launch their console?

Still

In a trading statement released yesterday, Infinium claimed that the service - described as "the first end-to-end, on-demand game service for delivery to the living room" - is being licensed to PC manufacturers at present.

I thought Steam did this?

I'm thinking they have the same executives as Gizmondo, give it 6 months and the company will be out of business with the cheif executive crashing his ferrari, saying it was stolen by some crazy German called Hitzenburgergenburger.

LOL bloody hell even that keyboard mouse combo theyre marketing as a"lapboard" has been pushed back till october.

I'm guessing this console is basically just a fixed spec PC with a steam-like service? Does it run on windows XP?

Well based on how long they have been talking about this thing, I'd say it was planned before Windows XP was even launched :p

It will never be released, if I recall they have changed the Chief Executive atleast once in the past year if not more than once

*Edit after seeing those specs* 256MB of RAM

You would be suprised about the processors that are still made actually. Its still possible to bulk buy intel CPUs from previous generations and I believe they arent actually going to stop making 486s and possibly some earlier CPUs until the end of next year.

Ahh I remember reading about this in a gadget mag while I s in hospital last year,, The mag was saying it will obliterate the PS3...lol and you can download absolutely any game for a very small fee  wondered where it got to,,
