Phantom Menace 3D

I just want to walk up to George Lucas while he's thinking about other ways to rape his own franchise and shout "Oi, NO!" Harry Enfield style.
I mean seriously, just leave it alone, George. Leave it.

He'll never stop while everyone keeps giving him money.

Is Star Wars the only film George Lucas has been successful with as a director? Weird how he has only directed Star Wars.

You know the more i think about it, im sure his wife had a lot to do with the success of the originals, remember watching a documentary about him and his wife and the way she edited the movies and in some ways controlled the story and pacing. You can tell she was absent from these new ones thats for sure!!

Argh the faster this whole "3D" fad goes away the better. Does anyone actually like it?! The only way 3D will kick off properly in movies is when they get rid of the glasses, and even then I'd be asking "is it necessary?" :(

This is it for you! This jumped-up firework display of a toy advert! People like you make me sick! What's wrong with you?! Now, I don't care if you've saved up all your 50ps, take your pocket money, and GET OUT!

American Graffiti was successful, but the studio had final cut and Lucas wasn't happy with what they did with it (I'm sure years later he reinstated his cut as the one that you can buy today, even though it doesn't say directors cut or anything). American Graffiti made some breakthroughs in sound technology I think as well which he is not often remembered for. THX 1138 wasn't particularly successful I don't think, but worth a watch if you like sci-fi.

It makes films look really dark.

I saw "my bloody valentine" 3d, the film was awful but it had the best 3d implementation Ive yet to see. It made it slightly less awful than it might have been.

I once wanted to go for a wee during a 3d film, looked at the bloke sat next to me to motion that I wanted to get out of my seat, and nearly burst out laughing.

Totally forgot we all had 3d glasses on and thought I was looking at Buddy Holly.
