Phenom II 965 BE or I7 !?

All 125W AMD Phenom II X4 965BE processors are the C3 stepping AFAIK.

Pretty sure it's a C2 that mate, when OCUK had the C3s in it was a big thing, and now there's no mention of the stepping or wattage, there definately was and my review is still in there, so I'm guessing it's a C2.

Never mind though, it will still clock to 3.8ghz stable and 4ghz unstable. I Don't use mine overclocked anyway, I put everything back to stock for normal use. I was using it at 3.8ghz 24/7 and I saw no difference between that and 3.4ghz.

If you want my advice, it's not worth overclocking for the tiny gain you get, it's not like going from 2.8ghz to 4.2ghz with an i7, it was something like 12% different.

The only difference I found was when running SuperPi 1m, at 3.8ghz it will do it in 18.5secs when at stock it will do ti in 21 secs.

Really not worth it if you ask me, so I've put it back. It still only uses about 40% of it in any game I play.
