^^^^ cant go on the mm yet :L ^^^^
and no @vinnie@, this is not my first build i rebuild computers a lot and do a lot of repairs to earn money, im not saying im exepeerenced, but i can build computers, its not exactly hard, and believe it or not i do know a fair amount about them, but a lil hastly on small details such as phase 4+1 and mosphets and allll the cas timmings and stuff, but im only 14, and i know the basics, and will learn.
just picked up some hyperx kingston ddr3 1333mhz ram in a 4gb kit for £25

^^^^spoke to soon i was sniped on the bay, but hey, it wasnt a great price tbh, you can buy new kits for 32£ on ocuk so , i guess ill buy some later

cammy as for youre comment i was wrong, it was *vinnie*
and i do know whats good and whats not to a degree, but tbh i dont have money to spend paying extra for parts with the same performance, just because the other ones may not function properly, i like to take my chances

all i can do is try, it kinda sucks unless my cpu is airmailed im exepecting a delay due to the sunami and weather warnings across the pacific. but theres nothing i can do

nahhhhhh, my mobo is 57£ posted, my case was 15£ posted, i got a lucky ebay bid, and its akasa a62, witch are awesome cases, and my 850w psu was £70
sooo, my budget is £90 and £57 of that is going towards my mobo, then ima need a cpu cooler. thats my budget over, but im selling some stuff and so i can buy ram and small extras, and my gpu and a second hdd will hopefully come from my b day

thanks paradise.
My case is a AKASA eclipse-a62 and its real nice for a case the cost me £15.
And yes my psu is a 850w modular ICUTE psu, ive had this conversation before, and it cant be all that bad, as when i shorted my intel cpu pins with thermal compound my cpus did not frry. soo i aint complaining, ive never had a problem and at 850w it does the job fine.
is zosma another revision of the x6, it looks like it was amd's x6 thuban version of the 970 tbh. maybye it was unstable, but ive asked and he claims to have run them 10 ours strait on prime 95 and intel burn sooo, ive just gota wait and find out, sorry for the delay, but my build wont be finished till mid aprill.
heres my build logg so far (including my previus xeon build) ****

tbh, higher ghz? becuase gaming is slowley becoming more about the faster ghz?
my icute will do fine.
and would you like to tell me a motherboard i can afford that will unlock cpu core's and support xfire?

my psu is fine

your icute psu isn't an ap-850 by any chance, with 4 12v rails at 20A each is it ?

yeah a Icute ap-850AS
and althoug it sates 850w, thats the peak and its load is 750w

surely your mum and your aunties pc dont count as a "pc builder" :D

not quite what i do, i build pc's for freinds and well obvsly other clients that need the building, i also do upgrades and repairs.

best thing I have found with PSUs, or at least a rule of thumb I tend to use personally, how much does it weigh?

urm, about the same as a nitendo wii ( i dont have scales) and a bit lighter than a xbox 360 arcade :P
if it goes down its my fault, but i think people dont like the branding, anyone that critisised ever owend a high end icute psu?

enlighten me to what client base you have

is it word of mouth? or do you advertise?

what do your charge and what is the best rig you have turned out? ;)

just word of mouth,, anyway, i dont build high spec machines, anyway, what do you expect, im 14, i can build pc's, but i dont make a living out of it, i have school.
but i think the highest speced machine ive built for someone other than myself was a core 2 duo for a buisness machine

Here are two articles which show internal pictures of the 600W and 1000W versions of the PSU:

Here are some internal pictures of a 1000W iCute PSU:

There seems to be two versions of the PSU and the picture in the last post is probably the current 1000W version of the PSU the OP has ATM.

my internals, are a sorta gold couler, but looks like quite beefy heatsinks.
oh, and well, did anyone anser my question about actualy owning a icute psu?

over voltage protection, evan if it does die, it wont take the wrest with it, otherwise when i shoretd my cpu pins it would have killed my cpu's?
and c'mon, ive already bought it, and if it does go pop its my own fault, and ill leanr from it, but now ive got it and it hasnt showed any problems so farr i aint going to complain.
so can you just give me time to form my own opinion, but thatnks for the advice i should have asked for 3 months ago.

My cpu turned up today, ironicly i have nothing to test it on, i went and got the msi fuzion 870a for £46.99 and with x,n and other multi vender gpu supports and unlock cpu core i though it was a good enough deal.
i still have no cooler, im thinkging of the thermaltake firo @ £42
and i still need some ddr3 im planning on getting ocz 1600mhz ram.
cant wait.

So is there any way of telling weatehr its a thuban or zosma?
it has nomoddel number on, but has product codes

@looked at the date, its 2009 and i belive theyd stopped producing be's by then, witch make me think its a thuban, witch leads me to think its zosma :P

yeah i guess, but its also a relfie after buying this chip from a untrusted ebay.
evan if it doesnt unlock its ment to overclock better sooo... and unlocked its ment to be 2-3% slower, but with 6 cores that may overclock ill be happy.
and with 4 cores that will overclock ill be happy aswell
