the stock cooler for the cpu seems to be a bit rubbish and i need to get a better one that can fit in the case, can any one recommend one?

No idea, apparently its 155mm tall so its on the large size, as to if it will fit in your case??

yes it fits i have the same case and cooler on a crunchng rig....it very tight but the side goes on and screws in place fine so yep
