Philips OneBlade?

Doesn't the pro use the same head?
It uses the same shaving part, yeah.

But I had lost a lot of my guards, I needed a new blade and my cat or dog had chewed through the charging cable so it made sense to just buy a brand new unit and get everything new

I use have the pro but never bother with the adjustable head. My son has has the mid range yellow handle one and I actually think that is better ergonomically.

I have quite tough stubble these days and only change the blade every six to months based on a weekly or ten day shave. I find my beard grows alarmingly quickly with more gray in past year too, so I look bloody old if I don't shave my face and head now .

Great razor though, and I got the skin guard recently so I no longer nick and burn around my neck line (which happens with any razor).

I see that most of the negative reviews complain about the amount of times you have to go over the same area but i suppose it depends on your stubble...

Love mine, never got on with electric shavers before but the oneblade is much closer to a razor shave with the benefit of less irritation.

I find I need to change the blade every 6 months or so but I use it with shaving balm so that might reduce its life a bit. Using a bit of water / shaving balm will give you a closer shave though.

You can often get half price discounts on blades from the Philips site so I just buy a couple when the offers available.
