Hi guys

Anyone ever had one and what type or format can I expect?

Random question I know, any help appreciated.

start with "i'm sitting here naked , so you dont need to imagine , i am also making full on eye contact , but not in a crazy im going to eat your liver way"

those amazon lads have a great sense of humour!

Is this for the new distribution centre in Dunfermline?

Never done a telephone interview before but I'd imagine it would be standard questions such as:

  1. What do you know about our organisation?
  2. What benefits/inputs do you think you can bring to this company?
  3. How would you summarise your main skills?
  4. Why are you applying for this position?
  5. How do you see yourself in five years time?

Might be worthwhile doing a little research into the company (where's they're based, who their CEO is etc etc) and I'd have a few questions ready at the end as they may say:

  1. Finally, do you have any questions you wish to ask?

Good luck :)

...on a phone interview?

It's actually a good suggestion, will put you in the right mindset which will mean you'll speak more professionally and take it more serious as oppose to picking out fluff out of your bellybutton. Standing up is also good, as it projects your voice better.

Good tips fifer :)

Yeah for the new one for dunfermline

Thanks for that

No problems - didn't know they were holding interviews for this yet as they're still in the process of building the place :p

It's two mins up the road from me, my understanding is they're re locating their Glenrothes centre (Council owned building) to Dunfermline in a purpose built distribution centre (or fulfilment centre as they call it) and also expanding their branch in Gourock.

That's another good call - standing up does allow you project your voice better on the phone :)
