Hi all

I drive a mk6 2005 pre facelift fiesta, looking for a phone mount

Issue I am having is I can't seem to find a good spot to place one of these magnetic style phone mounts as the dash is quite small and devoid of any large sized spaces

Any ideas/tips on which one to get?

Thanks

They look good, having trouble finding a site where I can actually buy them though?

They also look quite pricey as well(?). Looking for a cheap-ish solution as I am a skint student!

Can't get one for my phone (LG V20) :( off rainforest at least

Not surprising though this phone isn't available in the UK so kind of shot myself in the foot there!

For the Leaf I'm lucky enough to have two cup holders by my kness, so one's a extended cupholder phone holder, right height and fixing and removing is as easy as loosening an tightening.

The Mazda5 was going to be a pain, until I tried some

Ailun Dashboard Magnetic Car Mount Holder, the service you need to be able to stick the holder is very small, and a magnet on the back of your phone/in a your case takes care of the rest. It holds my 5.7" phone and case with ease.

Kenu Airframe or the Airframe Plus version , plenty of cheap ones from the eBay , I didn't go down the usual Brodit ProClip route this time.

I bought an Anker magnetic car mount and it's brilliant. Slips neatly onto a vent and can be taken off just as easily if you want the vent or whatever.
Slip the magnet into your phone case if you don't want it stuck on, and bob's your uncle.

Highly recommended and a bargain at £8 or whatever it is on Amazon today.

I've been over Belgian Pave, speedbumps at speed, etc and my SE hasn't fallen off once.

Thanks for the replies guys

Think I will give the brodit a miss - as nice as it looks I can't find the correct mount for my phone and it looks a little pricey for me!

@mjt there are no problems with your vents being under force or anything?

That was my concern, but surprisingly no. Anyway, you can take it off in 1 second as the contact is a rubber grip. The angle of the mount is lockable so you can stick it in a cubbyhole or something when not in use, thereby minimising the risk of vent damage.

Genuine TomTom suction mount works well on windscreen I re-attached once in 5 years
I see they have a vent model too only £6
osmount 'stickiness' technology looks good but much more bulky.

....

Ailun Dashboard Magnetic Car Mount Holder, the service you need to be able to stick the holder is very small,

at low level, can you operate it though, or do you just use voice ?
mine is at the limit of reach on the windscreen mount, reflections can be a problem too + sunglasses.

the Ailun look good, will they leave a scarr on dash when you later remove them (not a massive problem if they did)

Does it work for vertical vent slats? The ones in Fiesta are very tightly packed together and vertical
