I'm looking to replace my ageing Nexus 6. I'm after an android phone with a reasonably stock experience (I hate touchwiz) and large battery.

I'm currently looking at a One Plus 3T, what else should I consider which is similar value for money?

Moto Z
Huawei Honor 8
ZTE Axon 7

They all seem to be in the same market as the 3T. Although most phones in this market is heavily customized.

Personally, I would get the 3T if you need it now, otherwise I would wait for next gen.

I looked at all the options - also a big fan of stock android as I've been using a moto G 2nd gen for the last 2 years - and nothing really comes close to the 3T for me.

Using 'Good Lock' together with a Launcher (I use Nova) on high end Samsung phones mitigates some of the negative features of Touchwiz.

I've been using it on a non-supported Note 4 for a few months and a few of the features don't work or don't work properly but even so I'm going to continue using it as the positives outweigh the negatives for me. Being able to customise a lot of the settings including the colour scheme is a big plus.

It's still being developed so new features and bug fixes are still being added.

3T is probably your best bet. The moto z play has super good battery life and is almost stock android (like the 3T) but it's much less powerful (SD625 vs SD821).
