Phone Suggestions

Hi

Got the new chocolate flip phone the other day and have been given the chance to change it within 28 days if i cant get on with it...im going to give it a few weeks, but at the moment i think its going back

What do you guys suggest i get?

Preferably a flip/slide phone due to preference really, but not really that bothered if its a good phone

The N73 seems to get mentioned a bit?

I had a k700i SE and really liked that but the joystick broke so what are the new SE like?

what contract you got? might find the going from a chocolate to a n73 or k800 you will have to pay a bit for the phone as they as more expensive phones.

if you like the k700 i would reccomend going for the k800 as its just a better phone. have to wait see though for relpys about the joystic, im pretty sure a few people do complain about this.

its 02 £30 250 mins and 100 texts i think

i still have 6 months on my other ocntract but they bought that out for me so i was able to get this one

my ringtones will not stay as what i set them, which is really annoying me at the minute

I personally love the D900.

Small, great camera, easy to use.

The Chocolate lacks so many features its unreal.

The k800 is another choice, but its quite chunky.

That contract is pretty poor..just thought id add that.

Personal choice, D900 all the way.

im not keen on the d900

i know the contract isnt fantastic but like i said they paid me out of my other contract so im not really that bothered

like i said i had a k700i and loved it until it broke so might have a look into getting another SE

Theres always the possibility of a W850i too.

Its a flip style phone, and also a nice looking phone.

I was in the same boat as you, choosing betweenthe following:

SE K800i, W850i, D900 & Chocolate. I chose the D900 because its a fantastic phone, and is so thin its even better.

If you're not keen on the D900 have a look at the W850i.

that W850i does look quite nice actually, no chance of the joystick breaking

im taking it back thursday to get it swapped anyway so ill have a play with that W850i and see if i like it

Thats what i was choosing mostly between.

I chose the D900 because i have an iPod Nano, and just want a nice compact phone with a decent camera.

The W850i is a great phone

im not really all thet bothered about how good the camera is, i have a good camera for that

think i could very well be oging for the W850i then, does look a bit different, and although it looks a little bulkier i dont mind as long as it fits in my pocket

As well as that, it is a decent phone for music too. And has a 2MP camera whenever needed.

is the W850i actually more a "walkman" than a phone, because i have a nice little creative mp3 player so wont really need to store many songs just a few for ringtones etc

It is a walkman phone yes, as mostly all SE's are.

But it is a decent phone in itself. If you dont really need something like for camera/walkman..go for the W950 if you can, i would love to have one of them.

as nice as that one looks i dont think i would like the feel of it...with it not having ANY buttons

lol

that maybe the only thing im not liking about the W850i is the buttons look a bit weird and i dunno wether im gonna like em

I wasnt keen on the D900 till i used it.

I like the W950 & W850. Try a few out and choose.

my GF has the d900 and she is thinking of also swapping hers, we both got them at the same time...ill have another play with it see if i can get on with it

actually i think ehrs is the one up form the d900 the one with the touch sensitive menu buttons

E900?

The D900 is a whole lot better.

Try a few phones out first mate.

Right the one your girl friend is not the next one up from the d900, its the e900, that handset is under the d900. The main difference is that the d900 has a better camera. What i would suggest is the nokia n73. I have had one for a while now and paired with a 2gb card is it awesome.
