Phone upgrade "gifts"?

[Tek81]

The last time I upgraded my phone I got a free smart watch as an incentive. I was just wondering if anyone was aware of any other similar deals going on at the moment? I'm due an upgrade in a couple of days and I'm not adverse to a freebie.

Cheers

I think generally the "freebie" is covered in the cost of the contract or with new phones only (eg p20 pro had free bose headphones, Samsungs I believe have an incentive).

Hotukdeals tends to indicate any good phone offers.

I dont think it's quite as bad as circa 8 years ago with every other phone coming with a "free PlayStation" /similar so they can sell expensive monthlys

You've just missed the free Bose headphones with the P20, and free PS4 or PSVR with Xperia XZ2 offers.

There's nothing that good around now.

These are on and off all the time. Like s9 had free memory card, then free wireless charger.
