Photo Frame app with Google Photos and a schedule

Hi all.

Can anyone recommend an app that I can use to turn an old tablet into a photo frame? I want to be able to schedule it and pull photos from Google Photos.

Dayframe looked perfect, but I can't get it to pick up any of my Google Photos albums. The comments on the Play store show a lot of other people with this issue.

Any recommendations welcome. Cheers!

Dont know if this is typical to all nexus devices or just android as a whole, but under display in settings there is an option for daydream which grabs photos from google photos, can even specify certain folders only

Unfortunately Daydream has the same problem as DayFrame in that it only shows your on device folders from Google Photos, and none of your cloud based Albums. It also cant be scheduled.

My bad, I was looking at the Photo Frame Daydream rather than the Photos one. With the Photos one you can select Shared Albums.

However, its total lack of any settings, scheduling, or ability to scroll back through photos while its running mean its no good

Dispite the awful name and terribly bad English in the app, Cloud PhotoFrame EX.Net does everything I need. It picks up Google Photos online albums and allows scheduling.

Hold that. All is not rosey.

Cloud PhotoFrame picks up the Album, but only shows photos I've added to it.

So I revisited DayFrame and found that it ca n actually pick up Albums, if you use the Google+ option rather than the Photos one. However, like Cloud PhotoFrame it only shows my photos in the album

So I'm back to square 1 again.
