I have some text that has been rasterised and cannot be changed back to my knowledge, what I didnt realise before I rasterised the layer was that although both text is #464646 they arent the same pattern in CMYK how can I change one to match the other without screwing the text up ?

I have tried magic wang with 0 tolerance and fill colour but that makes the edges of the text rough and not sharp like the rest.

Basicly is there a way to select a layer and tell photo shop to replace any colour x with colour y ?

Thanks
James

Hi That seems to work is there anyway to specify which parts of the layer it overlays or will I just have to cut and paste whatever I dont want changing onto a new layer ?

Thanks
James

Not that I know of, I'd just duplicate the layer put the one with the colour overlay on top and remove the bits you don't want, avoid the magic 'wang' tool for that as it could leave little bits behind.

And I totally missed that typo until Spunkey pointed it out :P
