is there any software which i could use to help get rid of red eye and touch up photos?id like to resize images too if thats possible, i dont mind paying for this type of software, is there anything people could recommend? thanks

There's a freeware application called GIMP that should do this, although you may find something like PaintShopPro a little easier to use.

paint.net , gimp, there's also picassa (made by google)

all freeware

picassa is the best for large album sorting i'd say, the others are just freeware photoshop's basically (not as good obviously, but they do the job)

Started liking a recent find for me: FastStone Image Viewer

Contrary to the name, it's also a rather neat and very quick editor too. Free for home use. I only use MaxView at the moment (the viewer only) as I generally do editing elsewhere, but Image Viewer does both.

Faststone is very good.

Photofiltre is also very good and free!
