photography show 2018

Ah cool, I was going to say i can bring mine for you to try, but that would be less time than you whole day you've had with it.

Ah, thanks anyway. Tried the 56 1.2 as well but would find that more limiting due to focal length so wouldn't see enough use.

Do you have the 16-55 2.8 by any chance as I got speaking to a guy at the airport with one who loved it and said you get used to the weight? He had a few primes and said that lens stays on most of the time as its so versatile. I'm currently just shooting with the kit lens as I haven't had the camera that long. I'm not sure it's worth the cost over the kit lens given I never seem to have the time to shoot landscape how I want to I.e I can frame things well, but don't go when the sky is dramatic, sunrise or golden hour etc enough. I've started to get a passion for hating boring blue sky now, in particular against contrasting green grass/plants :D

I only have the 23/35/56 1.4 and 1.2 primes.

How far is the walk to nec ? Got a Google map link of the area you speak about?
Sorry I didn't see your post earlier.

Here's a screen grab picture link to the area I parked at maybe 5 years ago.

I parked on the roadside marked with the red dot. But back then the houses to the right of the red dot weren't there and neither were the double yellows on the road.
My original aim was to park where the blue dot is. That place still looks accessible.

If you scout around with Google Maps, you should find other areas of free parking.
I hope that helps.

That’ll be a good comparison to the A7III, I think I’m pretty set getting one. It seems a no brainer as my reserve/3rd camera.

Although I never dreamt of having 3 set ups ever!
Quality. Btw I've pinged u a message over fb. Can meet at lunch time time as I'm heading to the morning super stage talk unless your going too? Starts at 11am

I had a latte and a salad in Starbucks just outside, not sure if its Starbucks at the NEC or just Starbucks but it came to £10??! That salad must've been £7 !

Sounds about right as my mid sized coffee was £3.30. Parking at £12 is getting silly...

Enjoyed the show though and the talks are inspiring.

I only went to 1 talk as I only had Saturday and only had about 4 hours free. The Rosie Hardy one at Canon. Love her work for years so it’s nice to meet her too afterwards.
