Photography Topic thread...

It wouldn't be a good thing for my bank balance though, since I've promised myself when the 5D MkII successor is released I'll go full frame :)

1. Load film
2. Take photos
3. Appreciate how smooth film advance lever is, such mechanical precision, yadda yadda
4. Realise that the film has somehow slipped out of the take up spool when you've suddenly 'taken' 36 shots on a 24 shot roll.

Damn it, it finally happened to me.

A 5DIII can only mean good things for second hand MkII prices. :D

Probably sell one of mine and buy twi Mkiii and keep one as spare.

If we get what we all want - a Newer, better AF.......Then it will be a great camera. Just hope they don't mess up the tonal feel of the sensor.

Ha, closest i've had is where instead of folding back on itself and winding round the spool, the little tab on the end of the roll snapped off. I heard it though and i knew something was up so i wound it back in and managed to salvage most of the roll, so not quite the same. My first encounter with film retrieval methods though :p
