I prefer to use "Dynamic-photo HDR" as you can chose to use one image or more. Great progy.

Photomatix supports multi images. I usually take 3 bracketted shots and run them through the app when I need to get more detail from shadows and highlights.

Surely all HDR programs use more than 1 photo? :| Or are there some that magically try to pull detail from one image?
