I'm taking the plunge and puying Photoshop!

There are a few areas I'd like help on.

1. Boarders
2. Watermarks
3. Resizing

I'd like to be able to automate the boarder/watermark/resizing to a single action as I post a lot of my shots on a car forum after attending track events etc.

Currently I'm having to manually add each boarder and not bother with a watermark. Also, I lose a lot of quality when resizing.

Are there any pre-written scrips for the above or could someone point me in the right direction.

Many thanks.

For borders check this website out: http://www.easyelements.com/simple-line-border.html unfortunately I think it's a case of doing it manually every time.

Not sure about watermarks as I've never needed them

But for resizing if going smaller I do this: image > image size.... > change drop down menu to percent > put in percentage in one of the boxes > ok.

It should calculate the percentage needed for the other axis for you so you only need to put say 50% into one of the boxes.

yea i tend to create the border for each image that suits its needs.

its very hard to create a action for such a purpose unless you know your working on that size of a image, and it doesnt change.

waters marks, i never needed to do. because i never upload any image in full size for people to look at. (plus you allways have the original. so unless you want someone to see the full size image. then im sure there's lots of help for watermarks on google)

Yeah you can do all of that and save it as a macro. Then all you do is click the button and it does it all automatically!
