Hey all, hope I can get some help with this.

Basically, I occasionally take photos for a local gym and I took some last week but I need to fix this girl's belly button. It got infected first of all so it looks funny to start with then she got a spray tan whilst having a huge plaster over the area so there's a white rectangle round it too haha :p

I've been trying a few different ways to make the belly button look less out of place but I am definitely struggling to make it look convincing. Simple healing wasn't working because I want the belly button to still be there obviously but just look cleaner
Here's the pic (Put behind a link because it might gross some people out - CLICK AT YOUR OWN PERIL!)

Anyone want to try messing with it? If you can get it looking well could you give me a few hints as to how you got there? I haven't come across anything as awkward as this so I could use some help :D

On an unprofessional note, that is freakin halrious :D Do you want the edits done to the web jpeg or do you have an original to send?

:/ that's gross. Either find a donor-button on the net and paste it in, or inform her that no amount of photoshoppery can repair her fugly stomach!

Haha yea it's pretty gnarly looking. I can send an original pic if anyone wants but the jpeg isn't too bad - it was cropped way smaller before converting.

My mate's downloaded the trial of cs5 and he's tried it but it's still not perfect yet. It definitely is a lot better though

Got this far until I got bored - probably could make it a lot better if I put in some more time, but how long do you want to be spending staring at the belly button of a girl you don't know?

If you've got the original and need a good copy I'l do a better job, but that took 5 minutes with the clone stamp and my personal content aware workflow. I partially cleaned up that dodgy fake tan too. Next time you're there tell them to stop doing that, no-one finds it attractive! :p

I really do think belly piecings are one of the most uglyist things a beautiful women can do to themselves. They look terrible!

Dunno. My ex had one (she admits, by mistake) and it actually looked quite good, I always forgot it was there until I touched it as well.:p

Nice finker! I got stuck grafting a new belly button on and matching colours... is it hard? If Not I'll wait to watch my Lynda Dvds!
