Photoshop/Firework question

Would anyone be so kind as to shop me how to do this,

spent an hour trying to work it out, cant do it!

Heres the image, im trying to copy.

I can do the rounded edges, but not the inverted,

Is there an easy quick way to produce things like this, obviously its for a website.

Inverted?

That image is made up of 3 rounded rectangles slightly overlapping each other, the top one is on the left and the bottom on is on the right.

The rectangles all have the same style applied, a white stroke of about 3px and a positioned gradient overlay.
